Saddle and reclined Saddle can be one of our more challenging poses to navigate in a yin practice. We have to work with, and around, our ankles, knees and spine - areas where we may have been stiff, previously injured, ache or we're nervous to work into for whatever reason. The energetic component can be equally challenging to reveal our soft underbellies and hearts! Yet the medicine of Saddle done slowly, patiently and gently over time can be both therapeutic and regenerating on all these levels. A workshop style class.
